Web hosting shouldn't be expensive and it isn't if you do your research. ISPs offer page storage with every dialup account purchase. They make you sign a contract stating you cannot resell memory space. Why? They want the money! Why have a site if you can't make money? Placing your website under an ISP's domain name is a netiquette no-no!
You need your own individual name just like your storefront has! Do you think Amazon.com or eBay.com would have faired well under http://www.iland.net/~amazon or http://www.advertisnet.com/~ebay? We think not! Look at your past traffic stats. Do you even have any? Can you understand them? We send a report every month detailing the amount of traffic, what pages were hit the most and best of all will help consult what needs to be done to improve.
